Joy Bells Academy is a private school located in Nairobi, Kenya. We offer primary education from ECD to Grade 8 and a variety of enabling features and amenities including transport, full-day meals and sanitary conveniences.
It is a qualified Pre-primary, Primary and Junior Secondary School approved by the Ministry of Education offering both 8-4-4 and CBC curriculums to ongoing learners.

Curriculum Overview
Joybells Academy aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to prepare them for the best social and cultural life.
Competency Based Curriculum (CBC)
CBC is the country’s new education system introduced in December 2017. Under this system, each learner’s progress is monitored over a period of 2-6-3-3 years, evenly divided into three major levels of education:
- Early years education
- Middle school education
- Senior school, tertiary, and university education.
Fine Arts
A well-rounded education includes the arts. The fine arts provide a place for students to explore new ideas, take appropriate risks, creatively problem solve and engage creatively with the world around them.
Religious Education
Religious education provides opportunities to promote spiritual development through discussing and reflecting on key questions of meaning and truth such as the origins of the universe and of life, good and evil, beliefs about God and values such as justice, honesty, and truth. Learners get their perspectives on the mentioned subject molded correctly.

Athletics
To completely discover their full sporting potential, we facilitate the best conditions for athletic activities, giving each learner equal opportunity to explore their physical capabilities
Inter-class Competitions
As a way of breeding confidence within the little hearts, we conduct various competitions between rival classes, encouraging learners to rise up to the occasion, whatever the instance
Debates, Performing Arts & Music
We take pride in inviting professionals to mindfully train learners the correct way, be it in dance, music, drama, scouting or any other co-curricular activity.
